Great Boss even better friend
Sgt Rob Giblin was my boss for over 6 years. As I worked under his command it was innevitable that we became friends. I sat to his right side in our no window desk in Toronto. He was one of the smartest man I've ever known. He shaped me and molded me into an efficient Int op through wisdom and he had a really great sense of humour. He was a gentle giant is what we used to joke about when in his company. It's truly unbelievable and so sad that he suffered from PTSD a disease that affects even the strongest of soldiers. Also sad that what seemed to be the a true and newly found happiness for him turned out the way it did. I will miss him and so will the world he was great man and unlike a lot of people he did make the world a better place. Unfortunately due to my physical disability I will be unable to attend his celebration of life, but will keep him in mind when praying before bed time with my family. It's truly unbelievable and sad and I hope will go to show that PTSD is a serious illness that takes more than it gives. Rob, I am so sorry that you had to leave early and I will keep a place in my heart for you until it is my time to leave this existance. You will not be forgotten. Old friend.
