Condolence: I had Mr Bacon as a sub for a few different classes. He was on teacher who's name has never left my head. he had a great impact as me. He was a great teacher and loved his job and it showed in his teaching. I was so sad when I heard he passed and he will always be missed.

Condolence: My deepest condolences. I met Joe only a few times at geocaching events. He was a wonderful & kind man who loved the outdoors. He shared many proud stories of his children & grandson and their adventures together. He will be missed by many as well as the Muskoka Geocaching community.

Condolence: I had Mr. Bacon for Math. He was an amazing teacher, one that I will never forget. He pushed you to believe in yourself and showed that he truly cared. I will never forget him!

Condolence: Joe Bacon - one in a million. Everyday I worked at Lo-Ellen Park that Joe had a smile on his beautiful face. His laughter was contagious. He emanated optimism and hope. We performed Sonny & Cher together at the Christmas assembly, what a hoot. Love you, Joe Bacon.

Condolence: Mr. Bacon was a dedicated teacher and coach. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Thanks for all you did for me Mr. Bacon.

Condolence: There was only one year that I didn't have Joe as a math teacher and I imagine that freed up a lot of his time as I was one of those students that struggled in math. Joe was always there early in the morning and during exam week patiently helping me advance year to year. He was a really good and decent guy that was meant to be teacher because he took the time with his students. Mentor, track coach, math or homeroom teacher, he was always there in my five years at Lo Ellen. If Joe ever had a fault, it was the weight of his darn pork press (washroom pass) that he made us haul around. You will be missed sir!

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. Mr. Bacon ws an amazing teacher and coach. Thank you for your dedication to all Knights, you will not be forgotten.

Condolence: I would just like to offer my deepest sympathies to Joe's familly and tell you what a truly awesome guy he was! I had the pleasure of travelling with the LoEllen track team to many OFSAA track competitions and Joe made everything fun. You are an inspiration Joseph and we will meet again mon ami. Irène

Condolence: Mr. Bacon was my teacher for many subjects at Lo-Ellen Park. I loved his classes. I also had the pleasure of meeting him again through our church. He was so nice to talk to and laugh with. He always had a kind word to say, or even just a big smile! His Marketing class gave me a glimpse of something that eventually became the basis for my career. His smile will be missed by the many people his life touched.
