Peacefully Monday, January 15, 2018 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side.
Beloved husband of Luisa (Leonardi) Roberti predeceased September 10, 2016. Loving father of Robert (wife Diana predeceased 2015). Cherished Nonno of Christopher (Laura), Kevin (Lily), and Sabrina (Jason Bruzzese) and Bis Nonno to Isabella, Madeleine, Joshua, Luke, Abigail, and Samantha. Dear son of Adriano and Marie (Boldrighini) Roberti predeceased. Dear brother of Turiddo predeceased (wife Anna). Special uncle to Claudio (Angela), and Richard (Kristina) and fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. Special friend to Maryanne.
Born in Fano, Italy Astro moved to Sudbury in 1954. He was a welder at Sudbury Spring and Welding Services for many years. He enjoyed watching Formula One races and soccer matches, especially his team Roma on television. Astro was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced bountiful vegetables. Astro was a life member of the Caruso Club.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
