She was famous for her homemade apple pies. In her younger years she loved to dance and go to parties, she also liked to spend time at the family camp on summer weekends. There was always a cold beer or a glass of wine ready for company. Evelyn was a fantastic knitter in her day and created beautiful things for her children and grandchildren. She was artistic and self-educated and an avid reader and always encouraged her children and grandchildren to get an education... that was important to her. She loved doing crosswords they were her passion and she fell in love with the iPad in later years. It kept her up-to-date on the family news, pictures and events.
