Elma Josephine McDonald (nee Freeman)
Born June 16th, 1928, who passed away Sunday, March 26th, 2017 at Extendicare York, Sudbury.
She was predeceased by her parents Fredrick and Josephine Freeman, husband Darcy McDonald (1994) and brothers George and Edwin, sisters Helen and Elaine (Saimi). Dearly missed and survived by her sister Mary Freeman and many nieces and nephews, good friends and extended family.
She attended the Ontario School for the Deaf in Belleville. After completion, she worked in Toronto and Ottawa, living with her sister Helen. She worked as an accomplished seamstress in Toronto and also sewed clothes for family and friends when in Sudbury. She moved back to Sudbury in 1999. She enjoyed doing many handicrafts, enjoyed reading, writing letters and loved animals. Her gentle, quiet, cheerful spirit and sense of humor will be dearly missed.

Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at 11:30 A.M.
Cremation with interment in the family plot at Park Lawn Cemetery.
(Friends may gather after 10:30 A.M. Saturday)
