It is with deep sadness we announce her sudden passing, aged 73, on Wednesday October 12th, 2016 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.

Predeceased by her devoted husband of 47 years, Fedor, loving and cherished mother to son Myron and daughter Irene, loving and caring grandmother of Andrij; daughter of Petro & Kataryna Marko (both predeceased) from Poland, adoring sister to brothers Slawko and Jerzy Marko (both predeceased) and sisters Eva Cienka from Poland, Anna Krawczuk from Sudbury and Maria Skoratko (predeceased) from Sudbury. Adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada, Poland and Ukraine. Her pleasure in life came from family, friends, gardening, cooking and providing comfort to others in need. She was proud to come to Canada and pursue one of her passions in life: cooking. She is fondly remembered by her gentle yet passionate nature, her beautiful smile and fearless commitment to her family. She taught us to always be a fighter for hope. She was a beautiful soul.

A special thank you to Dr. Sawkiw who cared for her over the years and her neighbours who brought much comfort and joy to her life. She will be terribly missed.
