In loving memory of Maurice Hebert passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10th, 2016 at the age of 98 years 320 days at Pioneer Manor with loving family by his side.
Beloved husband of Alfretta (Alfie) Hebert (nee McDonald) predeceased 2002. Loving father of Gary (Fran), Eileen (Guy predeceased), Mary Lynn (Mike) and Maureen (predeceased) (Gerry).
Cherished grandfather of Kim (Ed), Jennifer (Cory), Leah (Rob), David (Vikki), Cory (Stephanie), Krista (Matt), Maurice (Tracy), Michelle (Ron) and great grandchildren Megan, Tyler, Robyn, Dayna, Lily, Cameron, Brooke, Jersey, Mya, Hunter, Brady, Avery and Sarah.
Dear son of Aristide Hebert and Alice Allaire (both predeceased). Dear brother of Yolande (Ubald) both predeceased, Berthe (Dieudonne) both predeceased, Jean-Louis (Madeleine) both predeceased, Francoise (Jean-Marie) both predeceased, Ernest (Fernande) both predeceased, Raymond (Rita), Rita (Aime predeceased), Marie-Paul (Maurice predeceased), Joseph predeceased (Jeanne) and Marthe (Dave). Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
Maurice worked as an auto mechanic his entire working career retiring as shop foreman from Crosstown Chevrolet in 1983. Over the years there were many loyal customers who would not let anyone but Maurice work on their vehicles, which was a testament to his skill and work ethic.
Maurice was a devout Roman Catholic and was a longtime member of Holy Redeemer Parish. Family was the most important thing in his life which he demonstrated on a daily basis through his unconditional love and support.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor for the loving care they provided over the last 16 months.
