It is with great sorrow that the family announces the loss of their beloved matriarch, Jacqueline (Jackie), 91 years, Thursday, June 23rd, 2016.

Beloved wife of Gerry Simoneau, predeceased. Survived by her children Claire Trottier (Yvon), Pauline England, Annette Gamey (Jim), Jack (Suzanne Graham), Rita predeceased, Yvette Dowdall (Pete), Lucille Simoneau (Peter Higham), Joanne Lamirande (Gil), Bob (Monica) and Rolly (Theresa). Also survived by her sisters Rita Campeau, Lucille Beaulieu, Suzanne Sovinsky, Yollande Drouillard and Françoise Menard, her brother Gilles Pelland, her sister-in law Cecile Lavigne, brothers-in-law Norm and Roger. She will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jackie leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, unselfishness and generosity to her family. She will always be remembered for her outstanding culinary skills.

Sincere thank you to the staff at Health Sciences North, Palliative Unit and to Dr. Roque; your empathy and gentleness with our mom was much appreciated. Special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph Villa, Lakeview neighbourhood, and a special mention to Angela, Angie, Nadia and her favourite RPN Nicole. You were her “villa angels” and your dedication to her care will never be forgotten.
