Condolence From: Laurie Topolinski
Condolence: Veronica & Family,
My condolences on the passing of your dear Mother. I met her many years ago, when you and I were elementary school classmates, while I was visiting at your home. I remember her as a kind, gentle lady. She gave me a hand made Ukrainian cross stitch bookmark, which I treasure as a reminder of my Ukrainian heritage.
I pray you will find comfort remembering all the special memories of your dear Mother and Baba, her light will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her in return.

Condolence: It was 40 years ago that I first met Mary at my high school part time job at Dominion store. I had the pleasure to work as a cashier along side her. Mary was such a hard worker both at work and at home. I spent many hours both at work and visiting her in her apartment on Paris St. Mary loved her family very much and never forgot her family in the old country. She was always thinking how to spoil her grand children here but was also always sending "stuff" to the old country. Mary was an excellent cook and she always shared her gift of cooking with everyone. I especially remember how she made my mother on her death bed home made doughnuts. That was the kind of unselfish woman she was. It was not until recently after many years that I met up with Mary at the Walford residience. We hugged shed some happy tears and promised to get together. This was in February . I am so sad firstly that we never got together and secondly that I only learned of her passing today. I want the family to know that their mother, grandmother was a very honorable and loving person. Mary made my life richer for her friendship. May God bless her as she has gone home to be with our Father.

Condolence: Mrs. Poryckjy was a wonderful human being who always had a smile and a warm and friendly touch. My first memory of her was back in the mid 50s when our family drove to Sudbury to visit. Mrs.Poryckjy was working in restaurant at the time so we all went for breakfast.I had never before eaten pancakes.I remember her carrying out a huge plate smothered in maple syrup. My brother Wally and I made them disappear in what seemed like seconds. We were thrilled when Mrs. Poryckjy asked if we would like more.I think we ended up eating 4 plates. Our satisfied smiles were equally matched by Mrs.Poryckjys.When I now have pancakes for breakfast I always have them with maple syrup. It reminds me fondly of Mrs. Poryckjys smile and a simpler time when little pleasures made a difference to 2 little boys. Rest in Peace Mrs.Poryckjy You will live forever in our hearts.Cousin Borys and Patricia
