James “Jimmy” Davidson

It is with truly sad hearts that we must announce, after a very brief illness, the passing on April 30th, 2015 of our beloved husband, nurturing father, amazing grandfather, dearest brother, and our best friend, Jimmy Davidson.
Jimmy leaves behind his adoring wife Kathryn Mary of 50 years, his two sons and best buds Jimmy (Dana) and Billy, his three amazing grand-children Aly, Brody and Maggy; all of which he was so proud of and absolutely adored. Also mourning this loss is his loving brother Wayne of Kelowna BC, special friend and extended father to Holly and so many countless others who knew him to be the gentleman and gentle man that he was.
Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Iva and father and mother-in-law Raymond and Mary Lanovaz, Jimmy was employed as a Material Coordinator at INCO where he retired after 34 years of service. Anyone who was lucky enough to have known him understood that he was uniquely caring, kind, giving and genuine; in every sense of the words… a true friend.
In respect of Jimmy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. All he wanted was to make those around him happy and in accordance with that, when you think of him… smile.
