It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing at Health Sciences North on Tuesday February 24th, 2015. Beloved husband of Rolande (nee Portelance) McDonald. Cherished father of Kathy (Michael Trottier), John (Marica), Donna (Christopher Loucks), Lisa (Georges Carlos), Ross (Jennifer) and Kathleen (Todd Everett). Bill will be missed by his grandchildren Abigail, James, Jacob, Kean, Andree, Matthew, Erika, Alex, Mason, Ashley, Victoria and Jason. Loving son of Francis and Margaret (nee Bradey) McDonald (both predeceased). Dear brother of Patrick (Theresa), late Fred (Monique), Margaret Fitzsimmons (Jim predeceased), Brian (Fern), Larry (Anita), late Don (Claire), D’Arcy (Carol), Mary (Edward Rampado) and Dolores McDonald. Treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews.
There was no job too big and nothing Bill would not tackle. He lived protecting every man’s dignity and pride. Bill loved without boundaries and taught his children well. He will be greatly missed by all of those he met and whose lives he touched. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of His Hand.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday February 27th, 2015,
at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury
from 7-9pm only.
Memorial mass will be held on Saturday February 28th, 2015 at 11am
at
St. Marc’s church, 17 Church St., Markstay.
