Condolence: My Condolences Fred, Dona will truly be missed.

Condolence: My deepest condolences go out to Fred and the McNabb family on the passing of my dear friend Dona. My comfort comes from reflecting on a lifetime of special memories that Dona and I shared as our friendship began when I was 10 and Dona was 7 years of age. The McNabb family had 5 children but they always had room for me around their kitchen table for a meal, hours spent playing Monopoly on rainy days, sleepovers, etc. My mother always knew where to find me if I wasn’t at my own home. Even though, over the years, different career paths and life events separated Dona and I, we always remained friends and kept in touch. We were roommates in Toronto and in 1972 we had the good fortune to take a trip to Greece. The wonderful memories of our time together are just too numerous to mention but they will forever remain on my heart. What I will miss the most about Dona was her sense of humour and the number of times she made me laugh until tears streamed down my face. Farewell for now dear friend and rest in peace. Condolence: Joan and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to Fred and the family on the passing of Dona a dear friend and associate. We enjoyed many memorable events over the last thirty years serving the youth in our two Cadet Corps. Condolence: Mr. Bondy, I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your wife. You both helped shape my teenage years with RCSCC Admiral Mountbatten.
