In loving memory of Muriel Simone Roy (nee Leblanc) who passed away at Pioneer Manor, Sudbury, on November 28th, 2018 at the age of 94. She was born in Windsor, Ontario to Oscar and Yvonne (nee Plouffe) Leblanc. Muriel is predeceased by her husband Eugene (“Gene”) Roy (2001) whom she married on August 16th, 1947 in Sudbury; son Richard in 1950, and brother Gerald in 2010. Muriel worked at the INCO Analytical Laboratory in Copper Cliff until she started her family. Mom was a quiet woman who enjoyed simple pleasures, like working in her garden and sewing. Her life was devoted to caring for her family and home. Muriel is survived by daughters Louise McKay (Myles) and Suzanne Wilson (Don), as well as son Robert (Anne) Roy. She leaves behind four grandchildren - Joshua Roy, Sarah MacDonald (Keith), James McKay (Maria), and Andrea McKay (Ryan), and four great grandchildren - Nathanyel McKay, Melik McKay, Dalia McKay, and Maynee MacDonald. She will be missed!
There will be no funeral visitation or service.
Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with interment alongside her husband in St. Stanislaus Cemetery at a later date.
