I had always enjoyed visiting 459 Arnold street, to see Aunt Gail, and Uncle Rome. I was always greeted warmly and told stories of the neighbour's dogs and the need they had for Gail to walk them when the owners were away, she surely loved animals and hated to hear if they were ever mistreated. And of course I was always well fed, whether I wanted to be or not! and yes, I was well beaten at crib most of the time.
She had many pets over the years that I remember, in particular Moses the Beagle, who left his teeth marks squarely on my butt. I don't think he wanted me to leave., even so, visiting was always fun, and Rome and Gail will surely be missed,
They have established a warm and strong family to carry on their traditions and caring.
My sincere condolences to all the children and grandchildren, hope to visit soon
