Condolence: We hired Ian at OES while I was Executive Director there. I worked closely with him. He was a fine young man, open, articulate, intelligent, warm hearted, diligent, and cheery even while slogging through the worst of it. He gave it his all and helped us enormously. It was clear to me that he would do well whatever he decided to do. I last saw him at an OES reunion dinner on May 30, smiling, happy and his great self. I am crushed and saddened to learn of his passing so young. I pray that you can take some comfort in understanding that while he had a brief time amongst us, he had an outsized impact.
