Obituary for
Jacqueline Shuparski (Frappier)
Jacqueline Marie Jeanne d’Arc Frappier Shuparski
It is with sadness that we her children Mark, Peter and Marie announce her passing away at St. Joseph’s Villa on Monday, July 16th, 2018. Beloved wife of William Shuparski (1982). At 92 years, her passing marks the end of an era. She was the last surviving daughter of Valeda and Leandre Frappier of Chelmsford, having been predeceased by her brothers and sisters Laurent, Robert, Corrine, Hortense, Paul, Jean, Evangeline, Maurice, Pete and Marcia.
Her memory will live on in Mark and Leslie Shuparski (West Vancouver, BC) and their children Andrew, Alix and Emma; Peter and Carmen Shuparski and their children Leah and Paul Miller Shuparski, Andrea Shuparski and Jon Erikkson, Evan Shuparski ; Marie and Tony Poxleitner and Shawn and Kate Poxleitner. Great grandmother to Wesley and Ada Shuparski Miller. She was predeceased by her son James (2010) and her grand-daughter Francoise (1991).
Jackie was a school teacher for many years having touched many young lives in Chelmsford and Dowling. She wore a tough coat of armour that hid a soft sentimental heart. Her summers were spent at the camp on Windy Lake where she was famous for her blueberry pies and fried peas.
Special thanks to the staff at St-Joseph’s Villa for their personalized and compassionate care. Thanks also to Pam from For Seniors Only.
