In loving memory of Shirley Just (Sturgeon) who passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2018, beloved wife of 58 years of Clayton Just. Loving daughter to John Sturgeon and Alli Marie Vesoja (both predeceased). Loving mother to Brian (Beth), Beverley Byard (Mark), Darren (Karen) and Michael (Alette). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Shannon (Taylor), Shayna, Kyle, and Kristin, and great grandchildren Tayshan, Kamden, Raine, Ayden and Zara. Dear sister of Gerald Sturgeon (Patricia). She was an active member of the CWL since 1960, serving two terms as president. After 15 years of raising 4 children, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Laurentian University in 1983. She worked for over 20 years at the Sudbury Taxation Centre. She enjoyed swimming, walking, travel, Cinefest movies, and was an avid reader. A prayer service will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Thursday, June 21st at 10:30 am. (Friends may gather in the chapel after 10am Thursday). A Celebration of Life will follow at Little Montreal Bar and Deli at 182 Elgin Street, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Christ The King Church (CWL).
