Judy.  Geri and I are saddened greatly . You and John were a very big part of our lives in Guelph. Your leadership and friendship were very much appreciated. I remember John and I doing the live character sermons in Guelph and of course his singing sermons. One small incident came to mind very quickly when I heard of John's passing. We were painting your house in Guelph and little Jennifer was toddling around. We said to Jennifer "Don't step in the Paint" Of course Jennifer put her little running shoe right in the paint tray. I still chuckle when I remember that. I also remember when John was preaching one time and he said "Imagine this. I start my morning  devotions sitting on the toilet." Well the congregation burst out laughing and I'm sure that you would have liked to have crawedl under the pew. It took John a few seconds I think to realize just what he had said.  We haven't seen you and John for many years but the memories came flooding back like it was yesterday. We pray that you and your family are surrounded by God's peace, a peace that goes way beyond comprehension. We mourn with you but we also have that sure hope of the future that the world does not have. Thinking of and praying for you and your family. Garth and Geri.
