Condolence: Dear Vendramin family: Thank you for sharing such a wonderful soul with a world which so badly needs people who care. Donna was that person. While we never met in person, my heart broke upon learning of her passing. Donna was a key source of strength and resilience throughout efforts in the Black community to establish the “Helpline for Black-Canadian youth.”

During those years when we almost gave up trying, Donna’s encouragement was the source of strength we needed. Safely stored are words of encouragement she shared along the way: Always professional you said, “I hope this gives you strength and hopefulness on this day...I think that the possibilities of getting new sources of support are very good over time. Plan the work...work the plan :)

Oh how I wish you were here to see your longstanding support turn into now Canada’s “National Helpline for Black Canadian youth.” You Dear Donna was the light along the path that kept us trying in spite of the repeated setbacks and disappointments. Oh how I wish you were here to see the tremendous positive impact you made. Your passionate caring about a vibrant, multiculturalism across Canada will resonate in many hearts for years to come. Thank you for sharing with diverse communities of visionaries. Indeed, you are the true visionary! I will be forever grateful we crossed paths.

My heart is broken to hear of Donna's passing.
Donna was a sweet and sincere soul.
Her smile radiant.
Her caring clear to all she touched.
Her passion perfectly pointed to her purpose filled life.
She taught me so much about why we are hear.
St. Peter spoke of using the gifts we are given.
St. James said Faith without works is dead.
Donna used her given gifts and spent her life working for others.

Condolence: Always loved hearing her laughter around the NLFB in the summer. She will be missed. My condolences to Lorie and all of her family. Rest in peace.

Condolence: May Donna rest in peace. I enjoyed our break times together at work back in 1988.

Condolence: May God bless Donna and her beautiful attitude towards people, their lives and what really mattered in this world. Few were ever so adamant about what we should do to care and love one another. The world needs more Donnas, not less. The days ahead will hurt all our hearts even though we knew it would arrive. A famous saying from the best book available says" that the day of ones death is better the day of birth". Why? Because your life represents who you want to be and what you did with that life. DONNA was such a good person to display that. Look at all the condolences that people have written about her.! She was a spark that ignited all who had the chance to know and love her. She is not forgotten. Her memories are safely kept now for all to see here now and in the future paradise.

Condolence: To the Vendramin family: very sorry to read about Donna's passing. She is one special lady! I can remember how meticulous she was when her dad passed away. Her eulogy was a work of art. Whoever prepared her obituary did a masterful job. Please accept my thoughts and prayers over your loss.
