87 years old
Passed Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care, Sudbury.

Beloved wife of Ronald Carriere predeceased. Loving mother of Elizabeth (Dan Servant), Rose predeceased, Florian, Ronald Jr. (Patsy), Marcel (Sharon), Anita (Donald Carriere), Donat (Debbie), Claire (Maurice Paquette), Fleurette (Claude Paquette), Therese (Gilles St. George), and Albina (Shawn Fifield). Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren (Nat predeceased), 38 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 17 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandchild. Dear daughter of Ovide and Rosa Dugas both predeceased. Dear sister of Rosanna predeceased (Hector Constantin predeceased), Vye (Pete Priere), Claire (Bill McPhail), Therese predeceased (Paul Harvey), Jackie, Joseph predeceased, Raymond (Anita predeceased), Donat predeceased, and Raymonde predeceased (Leo Joly predeceased). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and many friends.

Aurore was born in Gogama, where she married Ronald in 1949. She enjoyed fishing, trapping, was a wonderful cook, and had a passion and talent for music. She will be lovingly remembered as BamBam, Maman Mow Wow and Maman Sandwich. She had such a big heart, and loved to whistle “Keep on Whistling”.
