Beloved husband of Ornella (Morelli) Marcantognini. Loving father of Sara and special father-in-law of David Shorthouse. Devoted nonno of Thomas and Oliver Shorthouse. Cherished son of Giovanni and Erminia (Berluti) Marcantognini both predeceased. Beloved brother of Mario Marcantognini (Lucia) both predeceased. Franco was a shy man who cared for his family very much. He spent his retired years in his beloved backyard. He was passionate about soccer and his favourite team A.C. Milan, Formula 1 racing, and gardening.
