Condolences to Aunt Nellie and family.

Condolence: We send our condolences to Nellie and family for their loss of Jim a definite icon in our neck of the woods. My family knew Jim's family from their first arrival to this country. I use to accompany my Dad Bill Salo as a child to bring lumber to be cut by Pete Langdon and marvelled at the whole process. One day I saw Jim at the grocery store and I asked him if he would sell me his mill. He said, Sure Ken I will sell you my mill." Jim came over a few times to help me set it up and get it going. He made a childhood dream materialize for me. I have always admired his vigor and wisdom. I will miss our many chats reminiscing about the early life in our neighbourhood and the stories of our families living the simple life.
You will be missed Jim!
