Beloved companion of over 30 years to Ray Gagnon (predeceased). Predeceased by her husband Walter Jaworski in 1979. Loving mother of Eric of Sudbury and Ren of London. Cherished Babcia of Erika (Guy) of New Brunswick and Tomasz (Alexandra) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her parents Stanislaw and Josefa Bakalarz. Survived by her sister Helen Kaminski of St. Catherines. Ciocia to her nieces Elizabeth & Joanne and nephews Eddie & Rickie. She will be missed by her good friend Anna Hurban.

Krystyna was an amazing cook. She enjoyed hosting dinners for her family and friends. Some of her family’s favorite dishes were her perogies, cabbage rolls, “Paczki” (Polish donuts) and her soups. She loved to travel and spent her winters in Florida and Mexico.

The family would like to thank from the bottom of their hearts the amazing staff, nurses and doctors at Health Sciences North, especially the 4th Floor North Tower – Palliative, oncology and the clergy team, as well as the nurses, doctors and volunteers at the Northern Cancer Foundation especially Dr. Singh and his team for their outstanding care and compassion. Also to the staff and nurses at CCAC and Bayshore and to everyone who are there for our family and Krystyna during her illness.

Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Interment alongside her husband Walter in the Lasalle cemetery Friday at 2:00 pm.
