The family of Laure Anna Pednaud (nee Latendresse) are sad to announce her passing on Thursday, October 5th, 2017 at Health Sciences North at the age of 99. Beloved wife of Alphonse Pednaud predeceased 1960. Loving mother of Helen Black (George) of Sudbury, Roger Pednaud (Jeannie) of Orleans and Michel Pednaud of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother to 6 generations of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lucille Rautiainen and Jacqueline Jones of Sudbury. Predeceased by her children Rheal (Una of California), Andre (Carol of Azilda), Jeanne (Bob Dougan of Kitchener), Shirley and Ronald, parents Joseph and Exerina Latendresse, brothers Fernand and Lucien and sisters Marie Jeanne, Rolande, Lorraine and Colombe. The “Queen of Blueberries” as she was affectionately called was picking blueberries up until her 90th birthday.

Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury where friends may call from 4-8pm Tuesday and after 9:30am Wednesday. Funeral prayers in the chapel on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 at 10am. Interment in the Sudbury Roman Catholic Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
