Peacefully, Sunday, October 1st, 2017 at Extendicare Falconbridge, Sudbury.

Dear daughter of Elzéar and Eva (née St. Germain) Désormeaux, both predeceased. Beloved wife, partner, and best friend of Raymond Chrétien. Loving mother of Rita Chrétien (predeceased), Richard Chrétien (Denise), and Gail Chrétien. Cherished memère of Mélanie Woods (James) and Marc Chrétien, and great-grandmother of Anna Woods, Braylon Romo, and Tannisyn Chrétien-Romo. Dear sister of Fernand (Paulette) both predeceased, Victor (Cecile) both predeceased, Romeo (Gisele), Georgette (Arthur predeceased), Ted predeceased (Dianne), Alma (Jean-Claude), Guy (Georgette predeceased), Art predeceased (Marie), Lucienne, Michel (Aline), Doris (Gaetan), and Maurice (Geraldine). Loving sister-in-law of Roger (Thérèse), Bobbie predeceased (Viviane), Johnny (Georgette), Betty (Rod), Anita (Roger) both predeceased, and Gerry (Alva). Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, godchildren, and her canine friend Tiny, who welcomes her in heaven.

Anita enjoyed crafts, cooking, and baking. She had a great affinity for the outdoors, and in younger days enjoyed hunting with her husband. She was happiest when in the company of her family, often hosting family celebrations and dinners.
