Obituary for Anna Maria Molino (Desio)

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Anna Maria Molino at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Friday July 21, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Giovanni Molino. Daughter of Elissa Romanutti (predeceased) and Cornelio Desio (predeceased). Sadly missed by her two daughters Manuela Penny (Edward) and Sandra Petryna (David). Cherished grandmother of Andrea Penny (Greg Lakanen), Laura Penny, Michael Penny, Elissa Petryna and Nicholas Petryna. Anna also leaves behind her sister Alba (Silvio) Fanutti of Udine, Italy. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Anna was born May 17, 1935, and married Giovanni on April 4, 1959 in Italy moving to Sudbury shortly thereafter. Anna loved cooking, eating good food and spending time with family and friends especially her five grandchildren. She was passionate about sewing, needlepoint and knitting. Her friends and family in heaven will be fighting over her last piece of lasagna!

Cremation with entombment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum.
