Ida Marcoux (nee Delorme) 84 years old who passed away peacefully at Pioneer Manor on June 16th, 2017.
Cherished wife of the late Maurice Marcoux of Sudbury. Loving mother of Lucie Richards (Victor), Fernand (Diane Marie), Leo (Debbie) and Michelle Landriault. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Christopher, Lee Anne, Adrian, Tina and Dan and her great grandchildren. Dear sister of Antoinette (George Perreault) both predeceased, Yollande (Leo Daoust predeceased), Dorina (Romeo Leblanc) both predeceased, Bernadette (Joseph Dubois) both predeceased, Albe (Lucille) both predeceased, Ubale (Yvette) both predeceased, Pauline (Bazil O’Connor) both deceased, Euclide predeceased (Therese), Paul predeceased (Therese), George predeceased (Ghislaine) and Thomas predeceased.
She devoted her life to her husband Maurice and her children. Ida loved to organize birthday parties for her kids and loved to bake those famous whoopie pies. Anyone could drop in at the house and she would always welcome them with open arms and plenty of food. Her favorite pastime was playing cards after supper.
