Passed away May 20th, 2017 at Extendicare York, Sudbury.

Beloved wife of David Gervais (predeceased 1959) and Lucien Proulx (predeceased 1993). Loving mother of Colette Stevens (Doug), Rene Gervais (Diane), Ronald Gervais predeceased, Gisele Adams (Art), Fernand Gervais (Darlene), Gilles Gervais, Roger Gervais (Raymonde), Diane Fisch (John predeceased), Cleo Gervais (Raymonde), Marc Gervais (Diane) and Michel Proulx (Heidi). Cherished Grandma/Mémère who was loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Alex and Aurore Bédard both predeceased. Dear sister of Roland Bédard, Rolande Bois (predeceased), Omer Bédard (predeceased), Hélène Plante (predeceased), Lucia Racette, Rene Bédard (predeceased) and Aldé Bédard.

Mom loved beautiful flowers and her vegetable garden, camping and a good old game of cards, she loved her Montréal Canadiens Hockey Team, she started listening to hockey on the radio but when television came she began to watch her soap operas, especially Young and the Restless and wrestling, we all knew not to interrupt mom when her shows were on. She adored her many feline and canine friends and calling any bear sweet. She practiced her catholic faith. She loved knitting, crochet and many other crafts, picking blue berries, raspberries and strawberries. Her homemade mustard and ketchup were loved by many. Mom loved to help Dad collect copper. Mom was brought up on a dairy farm in St. Charles, she always talked about milking the cows early in the morning and then going off to school until her father was unable to work the farm, Mom took over. She always gave a helping hand when ever someone needed a hand. Mom raised 9 children on her own after her 1st husband, David Gervais passed. She remarried to Lucien Proulx and gave birth to her youngest son.
