Beloved father of Megan Espaniel, Ryan Espaniel (Krista), and Sharon Kagige (Kenneth). Cherished grandfather of Ayasha, Kobe, Kurtis, Rylie, Tiffany, Trina, Branden, Tess, Dustin, Tinaisha, Tammara and Kenneth Jr. Son of Simonne Racicot and Paul Girard. Brother of Gabriel Gagnon (spouse Sylvie), Étienne Girard (spouse Celine), Francine Girard (spouse Ben), Andre Girard (spouse Suzanne), Line Girard, Eddie Girard, Émilien Girard (spouse Nany). Uncle of Nickolas, Paul, Annie, Yannick, Emmanuelle, Emilie, Crystal, Joanie, Marie-Andre, Guillaume, Linsay, Jordan, and Kelly.

Roger was the best Dad in the whole world, which led him to become the best Papa in the whole world. He was an amazing role model and teacher who supported Megan and Ayasha through thick and thin. Dedication and hard work was his middle name! Roger enjoyed having a few beers, attending the occasional bingo, and enjoying every bit of the outdoors. Roger gave and received love very deeply. He will be forever missed.
