Beloved husband of Judi (Schayniak) Cartman. Loving father of Jeffrey, Randie, (husband David Martin), Hindy (husband Eric Stairs). Cherished grandfather of Michael, Aaron, and Alexandria. Dear son of Morton and Lily (Korman) Cartman predeceased. Dear brother of Jack (wife Zuzanna), Stanley, and Eric (wife Tracy). Special brother in law to Helen & Barry Brasgold. Dear uncle of Michael, Cathy, Jenna, Kenny, Cindy, Jodi, and Melissa.

Saul was a well-respected and successful businessman, having owned and operated Cooperator’s Security and Alarm, and McNeice & Smith Inc. He was a founding member of the Sudbury Flying Club, the Civilian Air Search and Rescue Association, Young Eagles, and Sudbury Amateur Radio Club. He was a passionate pilot who was happiest flying planes. He was an accomplished musician. Saul will be remembered as a valued mentor to many and always quick to help others. He was unassuming but effective in truly building our community so that the city of Sudbury is described as “greater”. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saul Cartman Foundation would be appreciated.

Shiva visits 1-4pm; 7-9pm will be held at 5 Aberdeen Court, Sudbury, with services nightly at 7:30pm. Shiva will conclude Sunday, August 16th, 2015 at 9pm.
