Saturday, June 22nd, 2013 at the Golden Manor, Timmins.

Beloved husband of Shirley (Clarke) McGann. Loving father of Ted, Desirée, Marvin (Angela), Elaine, Judy and Karen. Cherished grandfather of Tamika, Tyesha, Sydney, Amare, Amyna and Amir. Dear son of Maltimore and Ivy McGann Both predeceased. Dear brother of Corrine, Iboricton, Ambrosia “Taddy”, Onesimus “Onez” and predeceased by Nallio, Fulgencio, Alelslyblyn “Alan”. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Maxie was born and raised in Jamaica where he married Shirley (Clarke). They moved to Sudbury in 1970. He worked at the Copper Cliff Smelter for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. Maxie enjoyed biking and walking and he was an avid sports fan. He will be remembered as a very positive person with a great sense of humour. A man of faith, he attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Maxie was devoted to his loving family.
