There was only one year that I didn't have Joe as a math teacher and I imagine that freed up a lot of his time as I was one of those students that struggled in math. Joe was always there early in the morning and during exam week patiently helping me advance year to year. He was a really good and decent guy that was meant to be teacher because he took the time with his students. Mentor, track coach, math or homeroom teacher, he was always there in my five years at Lo Ellen. If Joe ever had a fault, it was the weight of his darn pork press (washroom pass) that he made us haul around. You will be missed sir!
