Gerry and Geoffrey, Thanks for letting me know of your father's passing.I had met both your parents in South Africa, 30 or 40 years ago , when they were out there on a Rotary mission. At a reception for them in Bethlehem , your father gave such an interesting talk on Canada !The South Africans always wanted to know about the snow, and he told them that you regularly get 10 ft of snow ! This as you can imagine , was incredible for sun drenched South Africans was unbelievable! Marguerite always wore a flower in her hair , and always had a smile on her face. . .They had kept up the connection over all these years , which I do appreciate . Please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss.I quote form a Lockerbie Inscription : 'Those we hold dear to us , never really leave us. They live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared and the love they brought into our lives.' May you all know and experience the love of God as you learn to live without them .
With kind regards,
