The Lougheed Staff walked the 5k route of the event. The Coldest Night of the Year is a national charity that that helps other charities that serve the poor and homeless to help raise money for their individual agencies. In Sudbury the agency that will be supported is the Samaritan Centre. The Lougheed team under the name "People Caring for People" raised $10 185.00 for the charity walk. They were the #6 team for fundraising in all of Canada and #1 here in Sudbury. We at Lougheed's are very proud of the staff who participated and hope they will do it again.
